The STI or Straits Times Index, a benchmark for SGX stocks is ending lower this week. The commercials are net short since May 2012.

    Can you tell me where to get the data feed on MT4 for STI?

    I been searching for days. I need it to decide when to sell my dad's stocks.

    Hi Shore,

    Thank you for your interest. I did my own programming within MT to access price data for STI. Not sure if there are any brokers that offer STI data on MT.

    You have an interesting method of trading. George Soros bought some gold recently and I hope you did as well. You might also want to check out http://jimrogers-investments.blogspot.sg/ for some bargain-hunting.

    I couldn't find any broker for STI data on MT.

    I installed some programs, did some programming but fruitless.

    Will you like to share with me your MT scripts to access price data for STI?

    May I know if you subscribe to any STI datafeeds? I will help you integrate your datafeed into my script so that you can access the graph into MT4.

    I use http://download.finance.yahoo.com/d/quotes.csv?s=%5ESTI&f=sl1d1t1c1ohgv&e=.csv and http://finance.yahoo.com/q/hp?s=%5ESTI&a=11&b=28&c=1987&d=09&e=9&f=2012&g=d for ^STI datafeeds.

    I also have a free ChartNexus platform where I can see STI datafeeds.

    Hi Owen,

    I tried the yahoo feeds that you have provided but I have some trouble incorporating that in as they are static (have to keep on downloading the csv file everytime for updates). Do you subscribe to any of these: bloomberg, kine, etc?

      I couldn't subscribe to paid data services, like bloomberg, kine, etc.
